Day 1
Flight: Vilnius – European city – Mexico City. You fly to Mexico city. Once you have completed the entry formalities at the airport, you will head to the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Mexico.
Day 2
Breakfast. You will head to one of the most impressive arts in the Old World, the Teotihuacan (translated to mean “place of those who are equal to the gods”) archaeological site. On his return to Mexico, a sightseeing tour of one of the world’s largest cities, also known as the “Palace City”: the Grand Place of Zocalo, the largest metropolitan cathedral in Latin America and the People’s Palace, the ruins of the ancient Aztec capital Tenochtitlan. The city of Mexico. You visit the National Museum of Anthropology, where you get to know the history and culture of the country, see unique exhibits. Overnight at hotel in Mexico.
Day 3
Breakfast. Trip to Taxco. Along the way, visit one of Mexico’s oldest towns, Cuernavaca. You arrive in Taxco, a former colonial silver mining town famous for its tradition of making silverware and jewelry. There are many small shops here that entice lovers of silverware. You will walk through the cozy and picturesque town through the narrow, cobbled streets and explore the Baroque masterpiece – the Church of Santa Prisca. You are returning to Mexico. Day 4
Breakfast. You are heading to the former Mictek and Zapotec Cultural Center in Oaxaca. Visit the Monte Alban (White Mountain) Archaeological Site, located on top of a hill rising above the Oaxaca Valley. Monte Alban – about 600 BC a ceremonial complex was built, surprising the strange forms of the ancient world. It was the center of the Zapotec religion, economy and culture in the region, later these lands were ruled by military mystics. Overnight at hotel in Oaksaka.
Day 5
Breakfast. A tour of Oaxaca, one of the most beautiful cities in Mexico, also known as the “Emerald City” because of the green building materials used to build the city. You are visiting the 16th century. the Cathedral of Santo Domingo and the nearby convent-museum. The gold jewels of zapoteches and mystics found in the Monte Alban area are on display here. You are leaving for Tehuantepec. You stop for lunch at a local ranch. You travel through the Sierra Madre Mountains towards Tehuantepec. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6
Breakfast. You are leaving for San Cristobal de las Casas. The road winds north towards the Grijalva River. The picturesque Sumider Canyon, where you will find great entertainment – a boat trip on the river between the breathtaking steep cliffs, reaching a height of 2000 m, and acquaintance with the interesting fauna and flora of the canyon. In the evening, you will reach the colorful mountain town of San Cristobal de las Casas. Overnight at San Cristobal de las Casas.
Day 7
Breakfast. Visit the Indian villages of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan. You get a closer look at the Indian traditions, unique faith, way of life and way of life, you buy original Indian handicrafts. You are leaving for Podlaskie, located at the entrance to the jungle. On the way you stop at the picturesque Misol-Ha waterfalls. Tropical vegetation, mountains, clear water – a great hour of respite. Day 8
Breakfast. Excursion around the archeological site of Palenque in a rugged jungle. Acquaintance with Mayan civilization: Notepad – a tombstone that can compete with the Egyptian pyramids in its enigma; Temples of the Sun and the Cross, the Royal Palace, the courtyard of the ball game. Many of the buildings in this Mayan city are still hidden by jungle vegetation. Archaeological excavations are still underway here; perhaps one day riddles will be solved and the veil of mystery surrounding the city will be unfolded. In the afternoon you head towards the Gulf of Mexico, to Campeche. Overnight at hotel in Campeche.
Day 9
Breakfast. You are heading towards Merida. Visit the famous archeological sites of Kabah and Uxmal. Kabah is a former Mayan city where you visit the temples of the god Chac and the Masks. You are heading to Merida, the capital of the Yucatan state. This 1541 The city discovered by the Spaniards is also known as the “White City” due to the large number of white colonial buildings. Overnight at hotel in Merida.
Day 10
Breakfast. You are heading to Chichen Itza, one of the largest and most impressive Mayan and Toltec cultural monuments. The majestic pyramid of strict geometric shapes of Kukulkan, the god of rain, the throne of the red jaguar, the Temple of the Soldiers, the Hall of the Thousand Columns, the huge playground with the ball, the Holy Altar on which the sacrificial rites were performed. You are heading to Ek Balam, where recent discoveries have turned upside down the usual Mayan culture.
Days 11-13
Breakfast. Holidays on the Caribbean coast. Great sandy beaches, warm sea, lots of different entertainment. Overnight at hotel in Cancun.
Day 14
Breakfast. You are heading to Cancun Airport and flying to Mexico. Flight from Mexico: Mexico City – European City – Vilnius.
Day 15
You will fly back to Vilnius.
