DAY 1
Flight: Vilnius – Sharm I Sheikh. You are going to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in an Egyptian resort.
DAY 2
Breakfast. Very early in the morning, you take a bus to Taba (Egyptian-Israeli border). Once you have completed the entry formalities, you are traveling to Jerusalem. You are coming to Jerusalem. Sightseeing tour of the city. You look at the oldest city in the world from the top of the Mount of Olives, where Christ ascended to heaven. DAY 3
Breakfast. Traveling to Via Dolorosa, which leads to Mount Calvary, is a traditional pilgrimage route in Jerusalem, commemorating the journey of Jesus Christ on the Way of the Cross, which ends at the most important object for pilgrims – St. Cape Basilica. You are visiting the revitalized Jewish Quarter, which in the past was the center of Jewish life in Jerusalem. During the tour, you will also visit the colorful and exotic markets, see the tomb of King David and visit the Last Supper art on Mount Zion. You are going to * Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ. You are going to the intoxicating * city of Nazareth, which has a strong aroma of coffee with cardamom, where, according to the Christian Gospel, the childhood of Jesus was spent. In the largest Arab city in the territory of Israel, exotic Arab culture intertwined with Western modernity. Today the most visited place for tourists – Revelation of St. Church of the Virgin Mary. You are visiting St. Family house, St. The grotto of revelation in which the archangel Gabriel appeared to Mary. You visit Tabha, located on the northern side of Lake Galilee. * Tabha – one of the most important biblical places where Jesus fed the crowd by dividing five loaves of bread and two fish. DAY 4
Breakfast. You are heading to * the town of Capernaum, located on the shores of Lake Galilee. Jesus experienced an important period here, healing people, reading sermons in the synagogue; many miracles of Jesus took place here. Kafarnaume has the best surviving marble in Israel in the IV-V c. synagogue. You are traveling to the Israeli-Jordanian border. After completing the border crossing formalities, you enter Jordan. You are going to * Jarasai – one of the best-preserved ancient Roman cities in the world. For more than 6,500 years, the city’s architecture, an abundance of religions, and linguistic diversity perfectly reflect the process of mixing two very strong cultures – Greek and Roman – and Eastern Arab traditions. Jaras is also called Eastern Pompeii. The city is located in a green valley, in the biblical land of Gilead. The hills of Jarasai are adorned with temples, the eye is delighted by the impressive theater buildings, paved streets, colonnades, and baths. You are leaving for the Jordanian capital Amman. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5
Breakfast. You are traveling to biblical places on the coast of Jordan. You visit * Mount Nebo, from which, after many years of wandering, Moses saw the promised land, to which he himself was destined not to enter. Visit the city of Madaba, famous for its collection of magnificent * Byzantine frescoes, which is why the city is called the “City of Mosaics”. You are heading to the Dead Sea. In favorable weather conditions *, you are testing the healing effects of this special seawater. You are heading towards Peter, where one of the most impressive and mysterious places in the world is – the “lost” city of Peter. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Petra.
DAY 6
Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of * Peter. Petra is the thriving capital of Nabataea, 2,000 years ago, carved into the rocks of the Moses Valley, which is accessed through the famous Sikh Gorge. Petra was forgotten for many centuries until the 19th century. at the beginning of the 19th century, Swiss explorer Burkhardt did not get lost. Today’s travelers are surprised by the family necropolises of the rich carved in the sandstone cliffs, the tombs-temples that later became the home of the lost Bedouins, the banquet halls, and the altars. A ** off-road trip to the Wadi Rum Valley, surrounded by spectacular cliffs, is offered. This place is also called the “Valley of the Moon”. You can feel the true spirit of the desert as you dine at a Bedouin campground in the desert under a starry sky. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
DAY 7
Breakfast. You are heading towards the Jordan-Israel border. Crossing the border, you continue your journey towards the Taba border, from there you drive to Sharm I, Sheikh. Free time for rest. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in an Egyptian resort.
DAY 8
Breakfast. You are going to the airport. Flight: Sharm I Sheikh – Vilnius.
