From Marche to Umbria, Assisi
Transfer to Umbria via the Apennines. You will stop to explore the landscape. Transfer to Assisi, where you will visit St. Francesco Basilica, Gittos fresco and historic center. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Meals: breakfast, dinner. |

From Umbria to Tuscany
On the way to the Arequée, you will stop in Sansepolcro, near the border with the two regions. Here is the birthplace of Piero della Francesco, one of the best painters. You will visit the museum. S. Francesco
You will go to La Verna, in the Apennines, where S. Francesco received the stigma in 1224. You will visit the shrine. Light lunch at one of La Verna’s pubs. Afternoon visit to Arece, St. Francesco Church. The entrance to the church is decorated with frescoes from the legend of the true cross. Visit the city center and the impressive Giorgio Vasari square. Dinner and hotel accommodation. Meals: breakfast, lunch. |

From Tuscany to home
